My stay was great. From the location, parking, overall experience. I definitely recommend staying here for a nice quiet stay.

I didn’t like the lack of lighting in the property. Someone was in our parking space and we had to take someone else’s. We had a problem with the door lock. Not enough towels or toilet paper and no one on site to resplve anything. Looked nice on line but would never use it again.

We were looking for quiet and clean and that’s what we got and more. It was convenient to just park in front of the room and have easy access to car. We walked to the lake which was gorgeous. ( Use the $5 vouchers!) We walked to heavenly shopping area which was super cool. Tahoe is a beautiful and clean place. Bear camp down the block had a cool atmosphere with corn hole, live music and good food.

We stayed for the week of July 4 at the South Lake Chalet. Our unit was the queen bed unit. The room was nice and clean, had everything we needed. A/C was very important for us as it warms up during the day and we like our bedroom to be nice and cool. If you are carrying lots of luggage, cooler, beach chairs and other things book a bigger room as this unit is good for two people and A couple luggage only.We had an assigned parking space which was very helpful. The hotel only has 12 units and each unit has assigned parking. It makes it easy to load and unload things from our car as well. Hotel is located 5 min walk from the Heavenly area where you can find different stores and restaurants. It’s also walking distance to other places such as Bijou Park and Dorado beach ( very small beach) if you enjoy a 25-30min walk from the hotel. Looking forward to our next stay!
