The outside is what they have worked on in the last year. The inside of the rooms is what needs a servere update. Furniture is old dated and my hip was killing me the next day after sleeping on the bed.

Nothing special about the room, its an old building and smells a little musty but i kind of expected that being so close to the lake. They do have nicer rooms available but for a one night stay the basic room was just fine. They also have an outdoor venue area overlooking the lake, looks perfect for weddings and receptions. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and inviting. The outdoor area of this hotel is what sells it and makes it all worth it! Beautifully situated overlooking the lake. All in all it was a good stay and we would stay again.

We have stayed here for over 30 y ears and watched the growth and transformations take place. The new owners and managers are still working out a few bugs, but good things have been happening. The setting can not be beat. It is ildyllic. It is such a peaceful place.
