John was the consummate host in this lovely BNB. We had more than plenty of room to move around. The location was just close enough to get to a handful of restaurants and shops with a quick drive but the neighborhood was also walkable and quiet at night. John gave us plenty of good ideas for a day trip and nearby sights.

We loved how much space we had in our suite and how spotless everything was at the property. We particularly appreciated the complementary refreshments and the beautiful breakfast table setting. I absolutely recommend staying here if you are visiting South Boston! What a lovely gem.

Very nice accomodations, we were in the suite. Host was very pleasant and helpful and a good cook. French toast breakfast was top notch.

John, the owner, is a most excellent host. He was extremely nice, friendly, helpful and a good cook!
The place was stocked with everything you could possibly want, food, beverages, towels, flatware, dishes, glasses, etc.
The large, private jacuzzi was great!
The home is the quintessential elegant, southern mansion built around 1900.
