It was a good place, near enough to the town center but far enough that it is peaceful and quiet. I did have a few concerns during the stay. One is the room door was not locking as normal the maintenance guy did sort it out took an hour or so coz when we came back from exploring town it was already done. The 2nd one was the TV was not casting so we settled with the normal TV channels. Other than those 2 things most of our stay are quite comfortable.

It wasn’t particularly clean. Lots of cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, windows and ceilings.
Basic rooms, no streaming services etc. just an average place, nothing special.

Room was comfortable and great value. Staff were helpful and friendly. Walkable to York attractions. Parking on conveniently site for a reasonable fee.

Was told by person on the desk i couldnt check in before three even though all i wanted to do was pay and park my car. Eventually when explained i was allowed to pay and park my car.Sofa bed had stained sheets and requested staff to change them, was told it was a "new starter " who made mistake. Staff on desk dint apoligise and just stated " ill get someone to sort it"

First time staying at Roomzzz. Room was a good size, kitchen well equipped and very clean. Staff were incredibly helpful. Croissants in the morning were delicious. Would highly recommend! Hotel was in easy walking distance to most of York’s tourist attractions.
