This place is a gem! Perfect location and amazing staff. Very friendly and communicative. There are 2 reasons I am not giving this location a full 5 star review. One is that there was a lack of hot water. The shower and sink lost pressure when turned to hot and it took a very long time to heat up. I am sure in the summer this is not an issue but it was in the winter. Something else to be aware of, the Main Street is very loud at night. We could hear full conversations from people on the street. I do want to stress that the location was perfect, the room was beautiful and the host was lovely.

What a lovely experience in Sorrento. This property is located right next to the church bells in the Main Street city center. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We missed our connecting flight and they were very helpful in guiding us to the property and assured us that everything was ok. Our room faced the main shopping area which was very convenient. We loved the sound of the church bells it made us feel energized and ready to start the day. The street is full of chatter and laughter. The bathroom was large and full of accessories even slippers. Great place to enjoy Sorrento, shopping and dining just steps from your hotel. I would definitely return. You will not be disappointed. There is no elevator so it jump started our workout for Amalfi and Positano.

Four night stay in October. Property is in the heart of city center on the main road through Sorrento. Sits next door to the Campanile. Can get a little noisy at night if you are a light sleeper or like to turn in early. Ringing bells in the morning as well which I enjoyed. Shopping and dining options abound in close proximity. Motor vehicles are not allowed on the street at least after a certain time perhaps 11:00am. You must walk about 150 meters or so to meet your ride or taxi. The staff is very courteous and helpful however the front desk is not staffed at all hours. A staff person is however available by phone. There is no elevator so depending on your room at least some stairs will need to be navigated. All in all a very nice experience and if you enjoy being in the heart of the action give them a try.

Very helpful staff. Hotel was in a good location and very clean. But its location also makes it very noisy. Just bring earplugs and you will be fine

The Residenza il Campanile was more than what I was expecting. The hotel is in a very convenient spot. Walking distance to both the train station and the port. The hotel is in the heart of Sorrento. It’s on the main road where all the bigger stores are located. It has easy access to all things. Sorrento the main road could get loud at night. But it wasn’t too bad from my room. The staff was excellent. They’re very accommodating and quite helpful I would highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I had a great stay here! The staff we met were all friendly and helpful, always ready with a restaurant recommendation or another cappuccino at breakfast. We loved the location (it is as noisy as they say, but this didn't bother us) and made the most of our stay by walking through as many of the streets as we could! Parking was a bit tricky for us, after driving around a while we parked in a lot up the hill which worked out. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves returning to Sorrento.

The staff of the hotel were all so welcoming and helpful. The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located in the centre of the pedestrian shopping area. We had a great stay in Sorrento!

The location was ideal. We felt part of the Centre of Sorrento. Our rooms were very clean and modern. Loredana was very accomading, friendly and service oriented. Breakfast was very punctual filling and just right especially with cappuccino and expresso made fresh at the rooftop with a view. Stairs are a bit of a challenge for older less mobile individuals. Church is next door however the bells did not bother us. Lovely place and best location right in the middle of all the action, music, shopping, dining, ambiance. The Ferry to Capri was only a 10 min. Walk which was very convenient and saved us money, no taxi needed. Finally, Loredana even helped my parents with their luggage and brought us to the taxi location about 500 yards away. Thank you! 👌
