Very good location, central to the train and to the town.
Rooms decent size for short stay. Very nice shower with good pressure. Nice terrace (seasonal service but can be accessed despite closure of outdoor bar in off season). Elevator access.
Too many smells everywhere in the building and rooms for us (perfumes, inscents, airfresheners) but otherwise lovely stay.

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend
My stay at this hotel was beyond disappointing. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed how cramped the entire place felt. The hallways are narrow and dimly lit, making it feel almost claustrophobic to get to the rooms. To add to the frustration, the receptionist did not speak a word of English, which made the check-in process slow and confusing.
The breakfast area was shockingly small, with barely enough room for guests to sit comfortably, and finding an empty seat was nearly impossible. The few options available were subpar, with food running out quickly and no staff around to replenish anything.
Location-wise, the hotel is situated in a noisy, bustling area that didn’t feel safe, especially at night. Street noise made it hard to relax or get a decent night’s sleep. Overall, this hotel was a huge letdown, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

Dear Mr. Diego,We understand your disapproval, as you left two days earlier and we were unable to refund you back the amount.As you could see yourself, at the time of booking, you signed a contract in which you accepted the cancellation and early departure policies of Hotel Sorrento City, just like at all other hotels around the world.In the case of a no-show or early departure, it is not possible to refund the guest unless it is a matter of life or death (which was not the case here).This is simply a response to all the slanderous statements; you could have simply told the truth, just as we are doing now.Best regards,

Very clean and in walking distance from train station, bus terminal and centre of city. Good breakfast. Would stay there again. Recommended

We were so pleased with this hotel. It was in a convenient location near Piazza Tasso. Close to the ferry and many restaurants. Very modern, clean rooms and excellent breakfast included. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful. We highly recommend and we certainly would stay there again.

Hotel is in a convenient location to walk to restaurants and down to the marina. Staff is friendly and made an effort to ensure a positive experience during our stay. Room was nice however the bed mattress was a little too firm for our liking.

Close to train station. Very clean with friendly staff. Not central to the busy core of Sorrento but only two minutes away. Older property which is well maintained and decorated. Would stay there again.

We travel a lot and Italy never disappoints. The richness of their culture, the warmth of its people…. All the staff at this hotel is extremely accommodating. We stop at front desk only to ask a question and Vincenzo went out of his way, called the tour company and arranged a closer pick up. He definitely conquered our hearts. Very, very grateful for making our stay memorable. We will definitely be back.
