Sonora Island Vacation Rentals

"We scored an AMAZING price on Hotels.Com for this property. We stayed 3 nights in Room 325 which was a King Loft room - it was HUGE - with a queen pullout sofa on the main floor and king bed upstairs. Two balconies with view of the ocean and pool area. Room was very dated although the bathroom was updated. Had a kitchen (but no cutlery, no dish cloths, no dish soap, no microwave and fridge did not have a freezer). Room not Air Conditioned so upstairs is very warm but we opened the balcony doors (was 21c when we were there in June) and it cooled off pretty well. They have fans all over the room so that helped. Breakfast was included (pleasant surprise) - it was a do it yourself with muffins, yogurt, juice boxes, tea, coffee, apples and granola bars. One day it was only granola bars and juice but for what we paid it was still great. The grounds are huge and the main hotel is on the water so you can watch the seals and eagles play and the cruise ships go by. I think they are doing some renos too so should only get better. Nice place - recommended!"

"We were looking for a quiet place with a bit more room to stay in during a family event. This venue provided a very clean, quiet location. Centrally located. The neighborhood is a bit older, but once inside rooms are very clean, some of the furniture was a bit dated, but comfortable. And, it had air conditioning, in room sauna, and some units had washer:dryer. There are a Limited number of units - (6) so book in advance. Our balcony overlooked the Campbell River. Bald Eagles flew right past our location on the river. (Photo or our view.) Close to marina, casino, hiking, grocery store and restaurant. Bill helped check us in on site. He was very patient with our late arrival. Also spoke with sunny / she provided great advanced info. We highly recommend and hope to stay here again! Thank you. "

" Historic Inn in a beautiful location. No TV or modern type amenities might bother some, but made for a very peaceful two evenings . Rooms are smaller due to age of the building but had a small private veranda . Brian at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed staying here. "

"Nice and quiet location, spacious room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Restaurant wasn't open during our stay except for a continental breakfast for an extra fee, which we did not require, but to be fair it was offseason. I would definitely stay again, this was my 2nd visit."
