The house has personal touch from the owner's collecting items, full of history from previous owners, too which align to the vibes of Songkla old city. Very friendly and intimate atmosphere. Breakfast are all yummy! Don't miss Roti and curry. Great conversation with Mae, the onwer, as he explained the local's way of life. I thoroughly enjoy my stay here and really hope to be able to stay here when I'm back next time.

Pros: location, decoration, staff, breakfast.
Cons: bathroom could be bigger.
Location: best to explore old town. very central location.
wonderful hotel with personality, helpful and friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. Love the decor and the central location in the heart of old town songkla.

Lovely guesthouse in historical Songkha's heart
Posted 13 Mar 2017 on HotelsThis is a great guesthouse, recommended by a local friend, in an old Chinese shop house in the heart of Songkhla's historical area. This is not a fancy place, but certainly one those traveling away from the most popular tourist spots in Southeast Asia will find quite pleasant and comfortable. The owners made the rooms very comfortable while retaining the historical charm of the place. The beds are firm and quite comfortable. Traditional local breakfasts, which are served in the courtyard when it is not raining, are delicious and include lots of fresh tropical fruit. The hosts, Danai and his wife, are extremely nice and helpful, taking us to get train tickets and accompanying us on a tour on a day when there were no other guests. Ban Nai Nakhon is definitely a good value and above the ordinary Songkhla hotels in quality..
