"The property is dated, the grounds are well kept and the pool is inviting but very very cold. I was the only guest in the hotel. I booked online with no issue but when I checked in the owner insisted on cash only. I had the cash but not what I was expecting. There was not hot water to shower with. The bed is very old and uncomfortable you can feel every spring in the mattress. I would not recommend this hotel. "

However, upon arriving at this hotel we were informed of several lies Expedia told us: 1) The hotel does not allow foreign guests 2) The hotel has not accepted third party reservations for over two years. All bookings are made directly to the hotel. 3) No one from Expedia or any other third party contacted them to confirm my reservation or resolve the problem I was dealt by expedia's lies. "

"Saw Nyein San Guesthouse is a place that I would highly recommend staying at due to the convenient location and hospitality of the owner. I stayed 2 nights here and the double bedroom was spacious. Air conditioning worked well, and so did the Wi-Fi. The toilet also had a bath tub and hot water was available. When I arrived at 6am by bus, I was able to check in immediately and get a good rest. "We had a great stay here. I’m normally not one to take the time to leave reviews, but I have never stayed somewhere with such a genuinely friendly, accommodating staff. Hotel was also very clean and comfortable, easy E-bike ride to Old Bagan (which you can rent from the hotel for a reasonable price). We would definitely stay here again."

"We highly recommend this place for anyone. Situated just steps from the airport but very quiet and tranquil. Rooms are spacious, swimming pool is amazing. We enjoyed our dinners at the restaurant and drinks from the bar))"

Breakfast on the rooftop terrace will keep you going all day. Nice place to sit and chill out as well. Hotel owner very helpful in booking bus tickets to next destination. "Friendly staff. Spacious and clean room. Spacious bathroom with nice amenities. Slightly isolated location. Limited breakfast buffet offer (mainly local food) on the rooftop open air restaurant. Nice pool across the street (that hotel guests can use it for free). Also a very nice restaurant by the pool with superb tasty national and international menu."
