Very nice hotel with friendly staff.
Restaurant is very pretty and the food is exceptionally good with very efficient waiting staff

A great find ….

You can see this hotel was once really impressive, there are now just a few bits of tiredness setting in, and some minor refurb is needed. The spa looked to be being upgraded when I was there and seemed like it would be wonderful when done. My room was huge and very comfortable. There was a mark on the carpet and a few marks on the ceiling, but it could be that it was just that my room was one needing to be done. To be truthful the communal areas were lovley and I would absolutely go back, for the price I paid it was a real treat. The restaurant didn’t open until 8:30 so I gave dinner a miss, shame…. I would have preferred it opened a bit before then. Great location and a nice traditional town.

The interior architecture was interesting as well.The accomodations were perfectly acceptable, however they seemed slightly pricey for what they were and where they were located. The meal at the restaurant was very good and a good value. The onsite parking was convenient and reasonably priced.
