The pictures posted at Hotels.com is totally different from the real or actual picture of the resort. The bridge is collapsed, no water in the swimming pool, no power or electricity, no backup power, limited food, rooms not well maintained, rooms not safe, jacuzzi is rusted, overall rate: worst hotel or resort. We can’t cancel our stay, we just left and get a new hotel to stay. Club Tara should not be operated and should be reported to Tourism or city because it’s really unsafe. Hopefully I could get a refund.

First of all we want to apologize fpr the inconvenience.We understand your frustatration when u arrived without electricity due to major fire problem in the mainland including the two post connected to our line. About the back up generator, we do have one in a schedule time. That leads you not to check in and stay in our resort and transfer to the next island. We do apologize again.

Posted 27 May 2023 on HotelsThe condition of the toilet is terrible (it’s very hard to call it a comfort room). It’s very smelly and unclean. There’s plenty of cockroaches everywhere.
The table in the dining area was not wiped. We even saw remnants of food from our previous meal.
There is a lot to improve in terms of cleanliness and orderliness. Being an old resort is not an excuse to be untidy.
We can tolerate the dilapidation but not a dusty room.
If you want to thrive, you need an overhaul.

I know you are bit upset because that rime we were not able to grant your request to cancel your booking cos we have a booking policy. That leads you to be unhappy the rest of your stay. Beautiful scenery. If you don’t mind being in a secluded environment with tons of wildlife around, then this is the place for you.

Absolutely beautiful location. The view ia amazing. Staff could not have been better. Food was good and reasonably priced (escpecially considering how remote). The boat ride there and back was a bit expensive (private boat is all that is available). The cottages are nice and clean but could use some maintenance.
