Cute historic property. Rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. The yard around the property is beautifully landscaped with nice spaces to sit, relax, and smell the roses (literally). The theme of the property/rooms is based off the heritage of Snowflake and one of the founding fathers of the town and his … erm … many wives. It was unsettling to realize this was the home of a celebrated polygamist. But once we stopped thinking about that, we were able to enjoy our stay.

The history of Heritage Inn is on our website (on "About" page) and it states the house was built in 1893 whereas polygamy was outlawed in Snowflake in 1890. There are no records that we've researched that indicate any polygamists lived in the house. Thanks again for staying!

Greet place to stay. Beds are to stiff though.

Hello Mack, thanks for the positive review. We are disappointed to hear that the bed did not work for you. We have had many positive comments about the mattresses and others say it is too soft so it is difficult to have one bed that pleases everyone. Just Stay Here
Posted 16 Aug 2024 on HotelsThis is my go to spot when I’m in the area. Cute, convenient, comfortable, and clean. The only drawback is the upstairs room I stay in gets warm at night and the A/C is loud. They do have earplugs, if you need them. Also, there’s a “lounge” with all the stuff you’d find in your pantry and fridge.

We enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Inn. The accommodations were charming and comfortable. We loved the convenience of the guest lounge. The gardens were peaceful and so beautiful! I would stay here again.
