"Unique and memorable stay in the old postman’s house. Each room had its own charm, and the host (who was super lovely during our check in) was nice enough to upgrade us to a room with a private bathroom. It’s only a short drive from the west peninsula and Borgarnes, and would highly recommend for anyone driving through the area. "

"Our host was welcoming and very helpful with suggestions of things to see in the area. There were weather warnings the day we left and she was very helpful in helping me find the safest route to our next destination. We were thankful for her help and advice."

"Beautiful property! The guesthouse was spacious and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly. We took advantage of the restaurant on site and we were glad we did. Excellent food! The broccoli soup was delicious and the cod was some of the best we had during our trip. Breakfast in the morning was also very good. A driving tip: watch out for sheep as you are driving to and from this property. They cross the road quickly and we even came across some laying in the road. "
