Great position, great hospitality, great food. Bed was comfortable. Heating good. Quiet room. Not a five star building, however was adequate.

Great Homestyle on the Snow Accommodation

Posted 11 Sep 2018
Pros: Breakfast and Dinner included, super close to the resort.
Cons: A little capital expenditure wouldn't go amiss for the rooms.
Location: Park your car once at the Lodge, and you don't need to get it out again until you leave, Perisher is 5 mins away by free shuttle bus.
We've stayed at Lodge 21 once before so we knew what to expect. The rooms are small but comfy, well heated, great hot water system for a nice hot shower after a long day, and good value for what you're paying for being at Smiggins. All you need to do is wake up, get dressed in your gear and walk across the road to the bus stop to get the bus up to Perisher - no need to take your car out and try to find a spot at the resort. We love that breakfast and dinner is included, only thing being that if you've had a long day and don't want to socialise, this probably isn't the place for you - everyone is pretty friendly. Three course dinner (and hot breakfast) included in the price is great. The staff are out of this world lovely - they're super chill, will aim to help you out any way they can (Thanks Scotty!) and know their way around the resort, so can give good recommendations.
