Budget Hotels in Small Islands of Venice, Venice

"Navigating the hotel was a minor challenge. Which elevators service what part of the hotel... The hotel provides a low cost water taxi service to and from San Marco square which is dedicated to the hotel. The Skyline bar has great views, but we suggest venturing out and to the local cafe's. The room was nice, large with 2 doors that opened onto the courtyard. The thermostat wanted to keep the room much warmer that we liked, even turned down, it did not matter, so we opened the doors to let in the cool night air. Opening the doors does shut off the heat/AC... We traveled off season, so it was a bit damp and the air was cool. They do suggest during the warmer months to not open the doors as it will let bugs in. The staff were very helpful and friendly. "

"Great place to stay…fantastic location, just round the corner from St Mark’s Square. Lovely breakfast, good selection of hot and cold food. Room was very comfortable, clean and great condition - upgraded from classic double. Staff all friendly and super helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if back in Venice."

"A great hotel! The staff were great. We just loved the hotel and spent most of our time in the bar lobby and on our balcony. We have seen Venice a number of times and Hotel Danieli is close everything. The ambience is unlike any hotel. A must stay!"
