It was an old property with charm near the airport. Not like those stale corporate airport hotels

This unique property dating back to 1106 is a special treat.
I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in the London area. The Inn offers good food, friendly staff, cozy rooms, and a fascinating story about a hidden trap door under a bed. You'll enjoy every aspect of the Ostrich Inn.

Very convenient for Heathrow airport. The hotel has lots of character and is very old - the rooms are modern and well equipped but the stairs and corridors are necessarily narrow and uneven simply because of the age of the building. The bar is charming and looks to have good food offerings (breakfast and dinner - maybe all day - not sure). If you are a history buff you'll love all the artefacts and pictures on the walls throughout the building.
