"The staff resolved an issue prompty and without any fuss. The hotel was to a good standard, the staff very helpfull and the breakfast had a lot of variety (if only it had fresh baked loaves). This hotel appears to be used by coaches, hence it can be difficult to eat at the main restaurant, however the one outside is very good. We loved the practical artwork in the lobby, it added character. We'll be staying there again next time we're in Iceland. "

"Very nice hotel “in the middle of nowhere” which is good, as you can stay comfortably on your way The hotel is clean and nice The room is big and bright and also clean Breakfast is really nice Also you have an opportunity to take a walk around the lake and watch birds We liked the stay "

"This cabin is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Host/Team is very responsive in helping us with the check-in etc. Very functional home - easy to cook and wash up in the kitchen the Icelandic chocolate snack is a thoughtful touch. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, olive oil are provided in the kitchen. Bathroom & bedroom is clean. It was quiet and secluded for us during our stay there as nobody was using the campsite at that point of time. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay there - it has good space for 2 and kitchen prep space is bigger than other cabins we’ve stayed. Very functional and clean thank you!"
