"We received a very warm welcome and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and comfortable. breakfast offered plenty of choice and was delicious."

"Very cosy room in a lovely setting, we had a room in the stables which has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner goes out of her way to make sure you have a pleasant stay, she even left homemade cakes in our room. Breakfast was excellent. Location was quite remote but ideal for walking, there is a pub about a 2 min walk away and a few villages near by where you can get a nice meal. Skipton is about a 20 min drive. We will definitely return."

"Good location and good-size rooms. Breakfast very good. Stayed here several times before. This time the room with a canal-side view had one small window, with a faulty blind. The room had emergency lighting with an excessively bright green light which made a good night's sleep impossible."

"its a lovely hotel, fabulous view, comfortable accomodation. the lake walk is pleasant, and the walkway maintained to make it reasonably accessible but not fully pushchair / wheelchair capable. its great that its dog friendly and animals are allowed in and around the place food is very nice, all made to a very high standard. it is pricy but its very pleasant and you dont feel short changed. a good location for a special event. "
