I had a lovely stay here. I stayed in one of the single rooms, it was very comfortable and had a nice view of the canal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the train station which was convenient for me. Could not hear any trains or traffic and had a peaceful nights sleep. Would stay again :)

Lovely hotel slightly out of town centre but easy five minute walk through. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, rooms slightly warm even with windows open. Would stay here again.

Excellent breakfast. Room was clean and tidy good facilities.
Bathroom sink had a waterfall tap which made it difficult to fill the kettle without getting water all over it. Spa bath tended to spray water everywhere if you didnt have it really full or you moved about in it.
Overall though good value for money and a pleasant stay.

Very good Hotel in a perfect location.
Rhubarb restaurant was very nice and food was a good quality and plentiful

We expected someone on reception but had to go in to the bar. Staff were nice enough. The room was tiny but ok I suppose. One on the hand towels had makeup stains on it, we shared 1 so it was fine. The bedding had a brown mark on it and the pillows far to hard for me but my husband liked them. Breakfast was ok but we wont be rushing back
