"Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. "This B&B is in a nice quiet area, but easily driveable to central Odense. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen for guest use was very convenient. The property is lovely. Our host was very kind and friendly, and the breakfast was amazing!"

"Just a 5-10 minute drive from the heart of the old town. Easy to access if coming from Odense station: 10 minute bus ride from the station, then a 5 min walk. If you like walking, it’s only a 30 minute walk from the train station. B&B unit is set up perfectly, and there is also access to their laundry. Would definitely re book if I’m in the area again. Area felt safe as a solo female area. "

"Bought a standard room and was placed on 3rd floor. Room was small and far from lobby. We paid a little extra (10%) and were moved to a room on first floor. The first floor room was bigger, more comfortable and near the lobby, bar, and restaurant. We greatly enjoyed it!"

One suggestion for improvement would be to update the carpets to eliminate any lingering old carpet smell. "Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "
