The bridge is collapsed, no water in the swimming pool, no power or electricity, no backup power, limited food, rooms not well maintained, rooms not safe, jacuzzi is rusted, overall rate: worst hotel or resort. "The owners and staff were great! All of the guests were friendly. The room and food was great and affordable! The staff really couldn’t be any more helpful! Unfortunately we didn’t see the whale sharks on our 4 tours but hey that’s fishing! They did see them a day or 2 before but we are told this part of the season (December) is not so good any more due to the lack of food sauce for the whale sharks. We will try again a different month."

"Our stay in Surigao was absolute bliss!! Although this place is old and has been badly affected by typhoon Odette a couple of years ago and is still undergoing renovations. The location was gold! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Its location is in their famous Mabua Pebble Beach, Surigao City, and on the foot of a mountain and with some 300 steps you get the most amazing view. It is also a fishing village and I've spent every night just watching the fishermen on their boats...
