Although, there are things that can be technical, and most probably errors with communication, but the place looks good.

Read the bottom of the hotel's Expedia page in small print under YOU SHOULD KNOW, it says a neighbouring building is under construction and may be noisey. It's not a neighbouring building it's part of the resort complex, bang in the middle of all the other units the noise is constant through the work day angle grinders and hammers.
After three days we wanted to cancel the remaining 9 days of the booking. The manager said she would give me an answer about a refund the morning we would check out. She didn't and was not around, I stated to her husband I was disappointed and would give a bad review and my wife's family who are local wouldn't recommend the place and we left with our infant child, my wife's elderly mother and her sister.
The hotel then sent an email through Expedia accusing me of shouting and being abusive. I did no such thing, and would never do so especially in front of my 7 month old infant and elderly mother in-law.
The beach was covered in plastic, I took 30 minutes to clean it with no staff around, the rooms are serviced by emptying the bin only, no sheet or towel change.
The manager is smiley and friendly but not interested if you have a problem.
Expedia helped get some refund but the hotel did not refund me fully.

The management takes all feedback-constructive or destructive criticism seriously, to help improved our service. Unfortunately, with your case- you were unbecoming when staff tried to explain things. Also, the management is very keen with keeping our rooms nice, neat and pleasant, esp when we accommodate our guests. We take pride of ensuring of maintaining housekeeping, when you requests for it. Seashore naturally brings trash to nearby shore, esp on high tides and housekeepers, clean it up early in the morning. Know that the property has policies set in place in all booking platforms for when guest/‘s make reservations nor cancellations and guests like you, should adhere to it.

L’hôtel semble être tenu par une famille qui met du coeur à l'ouvrage, bien que les chambres soient un peu rustiques (nous devions remplir la chasse d'eau manuellement, pas de lampe de chevet, pas de télécommande à la TV, matelas très fin...). L’hôtel est bien situé en bord de plage, mais nous ne nous sommes pas baigné car le coin est très venteux et il vaut mieux se baigner aux alentours de San Juan.
Attention au check out, si on ne fait pas attention à la note, des choses peuvent être ajouté par "mégarde" (nous avons loué un scooter pour 24h et il était noté 48h sur la note, sois-disant par erreur !). Nous avions payé 70€ les 2 nuits, ce qui est correct pour le service, si l'offre est plus cher, l'hôtel ne vaut pas le coût.
Attention, pas de restauration sur place, ni de piscine.

Because the property is so new the room is so clean and tidy. The AC system in our room being new also works so well.

The owners were very nice and accommodating .The place is a perfect getaway from the city life or any touristy places.The beachfront is amazing.
