The food at the onsite restaurant was actually very good. The room was dirty and smelled funny. Check in was slow. At check out they allowed us to store our bags because we didn’t know if we would make it back intime for the 12 o’clock check out so that was nice.

Air conditioning hasn’t been working on 3 nights out of 4 with daily temperatures reaching 27degrees Celsius, and very noisy road nearby so not ideal to keep windows open. There was an overheat message on the device. First night was just fine, second night we were told at reception to turn it off then on again after 15’ (it was off when we arrived) obviously didn’t change a thing. Third night, reception lady said it was forbidden by city of Sion to turn on before end may (which isn’t true, she just didn’t want to help, and mentioned she didn’t mind us doing a bad review for the property, we were « welcome to do so » 4th night the reception lady said she would send someone from the technical service, never did. Awful service overall, property really getting old, and cleanliness also to be improved. We won’t come back.

Basic, but quiet. A/C wouldn't go lower than 21.8 degrees. Had to leave window open to be the heat.

Up to the standard of other Ibis hotels I have stayed at. Reliable for good value for money. he reception was helpful an load me an electrical adaptor which was very useful for a short stay in Switzerland.
