Loved the atmosphere of an old time hotel and the hospitality. The room was spacious and was especially grateful for the complimentary breakfast.

The Simsbury 1820 House is such a classic, quiet inn. There’s also a very good bar and restaurant. Comfort and good dining give the 1820 House an edge over many other options to stay in the Hartford area.

We had no large towers for showering in our room, only small hand towels..

Great place to stay. Friendly staff and quiet room. Coffee/tea available 24 hours.

Nice rustic environment in a beautiful village. The staff was outstanding, friendly, welcoming and attentive.

I loved how accomodating the staff was. I really enjoyed the room, it was like a princess bedroom and I felt really special.
