I like that hotel

The property was clean in most of the public areas and elevated on a hill in the town. The room was comfortable but was in dire need of detail cleaning, i.e. corners around doorways were dirty. Staff was very unprofessional and apathetic about serving customers. Went to check out for a room receipt and was told since I booked on Expedia, I would have to get my receipt from Expedia.

We checked in at 2:50 pm and the front counter clerk started with "well let's see if the room is ready yet" check in was at 3:00 pm. Control freak with attitude! She was headed towards go sit around until 3 and in a glory of celebration the room will be ready.

This property needs to be updated. Windows were old single pane, we could hear the wind whistling through. The refrigerator in our room did not work and our food spoiled. They quickly offered us to move rooms when we contacted the front desk, but in that room the bathroom fan did not work and the sink only spit out one thin water stream.
The property looked like they were keeping it up despite the age, and the staff was friendly. there is a Walmart Super Center and McDonalds in a short driving distance.
