"The Beachside was perfect for what I needed, a quick, one-night stop. The room was comfortable and clean, and I got a good night’s rest. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. However, like every property around it, The Beachside suffered significant storm damage. The deck and pool were damaged and off limits. The sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock. Once repairs are finished, I’d up this rating significantly. "

"The hotel is still under repair on the outside due to the hurricane ,so no pool or beach access , however there is beach access and washrooms in the adjacent parking lot . The staff are incredibly hospitable. They went above my expectations . I understand the not having a pool area , however they were working on it , and feel it will be completed soon. "This hotel is as advertised. Hotel rooms are huge, with big balconies and bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Views are outstanding. Didnt eat at the hotel but the food looked good. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. Smores in the firepits at dusk were a nice touch. Weve been looking for a new hotel in Daytona since Ian and we finally found it. Very happy with our stay."

"Place is great! I’ve always stayed at Max’s when I go to Daytona! But they’ve change staff and this particular staff member at the front desk wasn’t too friendly the day of check in! I strongly believe that the first impression is very important for the hotel value and stay recommendations!!! I missed Mrs Wanda that used to be there before!! Very friendly and kind.. And would address your needs if any came up!"

"This is a large hotel with several food and beverage options. I booked here for the proximity to the Peabody since i didn't want to drive home (>an hour) after the show. It was a very short and safe walk. We had hoped to dine at the steak house before the show, but it was packed. Reservations strongly recommended. We ate at the sports bar and it was still happy hour, so no complaints. "
