"There is a building site across the road from La Maison Hibiscus. There are a lot of dogs in the immediate vicinity who bark noisily for extended periods. The windows don't shut properly because the metal bars on the inside block the handles from being moved to the closed position. The hot water tank is very small resulting in all but the briefest of showers running cold. The air conditioning was ineffective, blowing warm air. "Nice house on a hill. Not new but comfortable. Very nice and friendly owner, ready to help! And available in messengers. It is noisy in the morning - dogs, children, birds (the house is actually in a local settlement, and there are many birds) - can't sleep for a long time in the morning. "TV wasn’t working, no toiletries, no dishwashing soap, no kitchen towels or toilet papers. We paid extra €60 for wifi but it wasn’t working (got the refund on the last day). The only good thing was the buggy that was allocated for each apartment which made it easy to get around the island. Eden plaza is overpriced better to shop outside the plaza. "

"We love our stay in Mer Riviere, is a very nice place, very safe, comfortable and close to the beach (walking distance). Nadia the property owner/administrator was super attentive and friendly.
