Hotel Italia was wonderful! The breakfast was outstanding! They even had an automatic pancake machine—so cool! They also provided us with umbrellas as a courtesy, which was very convenient. Highly recommend!

Very close to the train station , just crossing the mall and hop on the escalators. Very friendly staff and walkable to the Duomo and rest of historic places. The hotel is dated and there's not a/c.

We enjoyed our stay here ( 2 nights total). Hotel staff was friendly and nice. Room was cozy and bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were big with the best water pressure.
We had laundry done (which was nice to have). The walk into the city center is about 10 minutes or so. Would stay here again!

We had a lovely peaceful stay. Particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfasts

Easy walk from the train station IF YOU TAKE THE ESCALATOR SYSTEM THROUGH THE MALL.
Staff was super friendly. Great recommendations on dinner.

I would have given a much higher rating for the staff except for the fact I had called the hotel a half hour before arriving because we had some confusion about the distance to the hotel. The staff member told me they were only a 15 minute walk from the train station. It was nearly 25 minutes up a steep, poorly maintained sidewalk because they did not say there was an escalator from the train station to the top of the hill a short distance from the hotel!!

Great location for the train station and old town. Staff were friendly and breakfast excellent.
