Good breakfast choice.Very friendly and helpful staff.
Also enjoyed our evening meal at the Loopy Shrew.

Stayed in a room behind the main hotel building and across the lovely walled garden. Twin room very comfortable and in keeping with the Darwin theme. Well provided with choice of teas etc. Room toastie and warm. Very convenient for a concert at Shrewsbury Abbey, just a short walk away.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. Housekeeping was available daily.
However, it lacked a mini fridge for cold water.

We very much enjoyed our stay--this is a great location and the rooms were very nice. We very much appreciated the staff's willingness to help us check in a little late and for staying around to give us some great recommendations for our stay.
