Lovely stay but beware they allow dogs to stay and dont seem to have any rules. We had a poor dog left in the room next to us three evenings running that barked and cried the whole time ...

The hotel itself was great, however we had a massage booked in at 2.30, we had planned to then use the swimming pool and relax for a couple of hours after, unfortunately we were told that the spa was closing early and therefore couldn’t use the facilities, a bit annoying as we had planned this for a while, took the shine off unfortunately

We really enjoyed our one night weekend stay. The hotel is set in lovely grounds- Reception staff very friendly. We enjoyed a large room overlooking the grounds. Great bar and dining experience. The Spa facilities were an added bonus. We would definitely revisit if in the area.

Not as good as previous visits. Check in was a real hassle as they could not find the Expedia reservation and the. Struggled to confirm I had pre paid. The room was cold - the long curtains covered the only radiator in the room. The night staff were very helpful in bringing additional bedding.
The leisure complex is superb - the front of house team would be better placed on the desk to help rather than sitting in the adjacent room staring at their phone. It took a short while to gain their attention.
Overall the stay was good but not as smooth as previous stays.

It snowed and the grounds looks beautiful. The welcome was warm and the room was ok.

Fantastic check in staff. Nothing was too much trouble on checking in / reservations etc.I felt they went the extra mile and some more.
