Nice, quirky little hotel with good food. Great for a 1 night stay as Shipston is a bit limited beyond the hotel itself.

We had an absolutely terrific stay at the Bower House! We were delighted by the welcome gifts and daily service. I have been visiting Shipston for many years and the BH is a welcome addition to the area.

A very friendly welcome on arrival. Lovely room, beautiful bathroom. The area was very pretty with lots of coffee shops and bars, though not much more. A relaxing stay. Only criticism was the room was a bit cold. We were told we could turn our radiators up, but they never warmed and there wasn’t anyone at night when we got back to ask. Otherwise lovely.

Highly recommend lovely hotel

Posted 28 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe stayed for two nights and we loved our stay at The Bower House! Beautiful and spacious room was a welcome surprise. The bathroom was also huge and very nice. The decor was well done and the surprise welcome cookies were a great treat. Sadly we stayed here when the restaurant was closed so we didn’t get to try it but we had dinner at their sister restaurant, The Howard Arms, and it was fantastic! I would definitely stay here again!
