Mediocre but still pleasant
Posted 1 Apr 2019 on HotelsBe sure that if you book a trip here, that you make sure yo make contact with the resort. As they are responsible for arranging a bus trip to and from the resort of you're an international traveler and dont have your own means of getting there.
Theres not much to the surrounding area, though in all fairness I didnt explore too far and wide. The outdoor onsen was nice. My girlfriend got very subconcious in the public bath, however. Even after washing thoroughly when she got in several women immediately got out. It's not the fault of the resort but it did affect her comfort level for the last day.

Japanese Baths in this dated Ryokan Inn
Posted 23 Jun 2018
Pros: The room was well-appointed with TV, mini-fridge, and futon on tatami mat floors. The view was mountainous with lots of greenery.
Cons: The price was excellent, the only thing was that the dining area was fairly crowded and large. The coffee cups were small so it meant several trips.
Location: It is located in the mountains with a hotel shuttle bus, but I drove there by car en route home. I stayed here overnight rather than going by tollway.
I enjoyed a pleasant stay in this small mountain resort at the edge of a small village/town near Tottori en route along the Sea of Japan coast.
The hotel was well-maintained but is dated. It has a simple onsen bath on the rooftop (7th floor) and a nicer one a short climb up the mountain from the rooftop of the hotel which is connected by a wooden pathway with 5 flights of stairs. This means the climb may be a bit hard for people with disabilities.
Both evening and morning meals were included in the single person room rate. These were both buffet styled meals so there was a good selection of Japanese and western cuisine on offer for both meals. The omelet station with a chef was where steak was offered the night before. There was also a drink bar.

Lovely night
Posted 26 Jan 2024 on HotelsSuch a nice place! Very relaxing onsen.
My partner and I went there for one night, the room is very nice with it's own seating area (two chairs and a table) by the window.
There are yukata's by the entrance where you can pick one out and use during your visit (I totally wanted to bring one with me home, but didn't of course)
There is ping-pong included, just write your name down at the time slot you want to play. Parking's included.
There's also Karaoke but it cost a bit.
We only had time to talk to the night staff, there was one man who was so so nice, I wish I had gotten his name to write in the reference!
Thank you for everything
