Visiting Clarkes is like stepping back in time. The architecture of the building makes such a refreshing change from the modern hotels of concrete, glass and over the top air conditioning. Our room was lovely and was beautifully furnished and the public areas of the hotel were also thoughtfully presented. Although some people might find it a little formal, the staff were friendly and polite without exception. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Property is well maintained despite being old. It is situated near mall road and has easy access to main road. The staff is very courteous and friendly. We had an amazing and comfortable stay.

The hotel has heritage charm with impressive service, very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Location is good. The dining options and quality of food and service excellent.

Beautiful Hotel located at the start of Mall road that provides a good view of Shimla.
Staff Hospitality and services were exceptionally great.
Would recommend worth staying!
