"I enjoyed our stay very much overall. The property itself is very good and the staff is exceptional. I personally didn’t care for the location of the hotel. While nothing was extremely far away, restaurants were limited unless you wanted to walk 10-15 minutes. Last time I was in Kyoto we stayed at a small hotel in Gion, which was just more convenient for us, given our particular needs. "

"Fantastic apartment-style room. We (2 adults, 2 kids - 8&10) had lots of space. The kitchenette allowed us to make our own beeakfast most days. The hotel had small appliances that we could borrow such as toaster and rice cooker. Laundry on site was quick and efficient. We could not have asked for a better hotel. The location was not ideal in that it was not very close to much of the shopping areas (eg. Nishiki market is about a 15-20 min walk). There is a grocery store across the street as well...

"The twin room was roomy with the softest mattresses we've found so far. Also had a great laundry machine with free detergent (tip: use the bathroom's heating function as a clothes drying room). This location was by the Red line which we ended up using the most to get around from Shin-Osaka, Osaka Castle and Aquarium (with the Green line) There were some downsides to the place with the constant noise from the elevator, no soundproofing so you could hear loud ambulances/bikes, and we were not...

"Two things I'd like to add for people that would want to arrive before check-in time... they don't allow check-in time before exactly 15h00. I got there around 14h00 and they would'nt allow me to check-in. We had to wait outside because there were only two small couch and other people were also waiting to check-in. Second thing, there is not enough hook around the room so we can't hang enough cloths or towels and stuff. Overall it was a good place and near the metro station."

"Location was excellent as it was very near to Yotsubashi train station and about 15 mins walk to the main Shinsaibashi shopping street. Lots of food nearby, Family Mart konbini store right beside and a supermarket nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly and i rate them full marks on customer service. The room however was very dusty and we kept sneezing throughout our stay there. The room does not have a window that can be opened to let the dust escape. Would have given a 5 stars...

"This hotel was next to a subway so it was easy to get home and go about... Walking distance to dotonburi and kuromon market... Love that there is a washing machine and inside the bathroom is a dryer. They have hangers and a dry option that heats up and dry your clothes.... Definitely will stay here again "

"This hotel was great and an excellent price point! I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit Kyoto and save on accommodations. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with tons of options. The hotel feels like a large operation and staff are moving people through, but taking your shoes off makes it feel more homey. The room was much more spacious than other rooms we experience in Japan. Super clean. It was close to Kyoto station, but not close to anything else we wanted to do/see/eat in Kyoto....
