We loved our large bedroom and the bar area, full of character, wood panelling etc. Bathrooms were Ok.
Our son’s room was more modern but spacious. We were meeting family so didn’t dine in the evening but the breakfast was the usual fare, a bit dry but what what do you expect when you turn up at 9:45, not many booked in for breakfast apparently. Staff pleasant and helpful. Will stay again.

Inside the hotel the furnishings seemed a little tired in places. When I arrived it was dark and was raining. Most of the carpark was unlit. Being unlit it was difficult to see defined parking spaces. Some lighting on the carpark would have helped.

Nice property, very handy for town and reasonably priced
A refurb of reception area was in progress but didn’t cause any inconvenience.
