"We have recently enjoyed a weekend at Novotel Cairo with my

. We had a wonderful time but as first timers underestimated the size of the city and location of the hotel. We ended up eating most meals at the hotel restaurant, as most places were quite far. Food was however tasty and service always attentive. We also enjoyed the pool area. It was nice the hotel wasn't very busy, which is probably also caused by the renovation- on some days it was very noisy. "

"The location is great, close to Giza Plateau and the GEM, and we also found it conveniently located for a day trip to Dashur, Saqqara and Memphis. Because of its very close proximity to the pyramids, there can be quite a few street sellers in the surrounding neighbood, but the location is still excellent. The best thing about this hotel is the staff—they went to great lengths to make our stay enjoyable and treated us like

"This hotel is perfect for the view. Room was basic but had all you need. Staff were friendly & helpful. Thing that let it down for me was the fact I booked it for the free airport shuttle, but when I came to booking the taxi they said it was only for guests staying for 5 days so be aware of that when booking as they don’t make that clear.
