A pleasant no frills hotel. Its clean and in good repair. Free WiFi was on the slow side. The restaurant was limited but the food was good, both evening meal and breakfast.
Thin walls, I could hear too much from adjacent rooms. Water pressure was low in the bathroom. The staff were helpful but no morning reception when I needed a business invoice was a bit unusual (they did email it).

The abbey hotel was very welcoming and the food was excellent

Hotel was fine for what it was but located in an area with limited facilities i.e. bars, restaurants and shops nearby.
