Bad layout of WC/Bathroom
"Location is good. Steps away from Nanjing Road shopping street. However, the lobby is forever congested. It usually took us quite a bit of time for the DiDi to get in and out of the lobby area due to the congestion. Another down side is the layout of the room. The sink, WC and bathroom are all seperated. ..."

Ok but not so ok
"I always stay at this hotel whenever I’m in Shanghai because of its location. It’s close to everywhere that I want to go. Great staff, great service. “If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.”

― Mario Andretti

In China, everything is like this. Unless you are away from the cities, construction, traffic and just buying some noodles is moving at a pace that seems just a little out of control. It has the feel of a pressure pot that has been turned up just a bit too high.

However, I have lived here for a while now, and I have become used to the mad cap pace that everything is running at. Once you get adjusted to that pace, it is a dream come true for the traveller. Planes, trains and a shit-load of restaurants and hotels all linked into convenient apps (well, not so much the restaurants) such as Ctrip.
