We’ve stayed here several times and it’s Ben clean quiet and satisfactory. Noise travels, which we were accustomed too, but this time, the whole 2nd floor smelled moldy and our room AC emitted an odor that smelled like a mix of cat urine with a bit of pine sol. Hallway carpet was loose and a falls hazard. These should be easy fixes.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices for hotel rooms and that area of North Carolina are ridiculous.

Picked this motel because of price and what I thought was its central location to the island beaches. It was a drive of 15 or more minutes to get to those islands so we did a lot of driving in 5 days. Only one restaurant close enough to walk to. Our room was clean but very small. One wobbly desk chair to sit upon or the bed. Poor wifi. Lost connection every day. We sat by the clean outdoor pool everyday. Basically the motel was a place to sleep, wash and regroup for each day. Yes, free breakfast with fresh fruits, waffles and other sweets and cereals until 9:30am. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous.
