"Stayed at the Shaker Village #6 East Family Brethren's Shop Room 549 (maybe 6 rooms in building) for 2 nights. Have stayed at Shaker quite a few times without incident but not in this room. I felt 3 light taps on my bare upper back and thought it was my wife trying to wake me. Too tired to answer, I ignored the tap but asked my wife later in the morning if she tried to wake me. Her answer was no. Nothing happened the second night. Will stay again."

"Cute boutique hotel in an excellent location with a nice bar and very friendly staff. I’ve stayed at this property many times over several years. The hotel could use some updates as rooms, hallways & elevators are visibly worn. The beds are not the most comfortable. I also didn’t have hot water for the majority of my stay, but likely just a fluke as it’s never been an issue during previous stays. "

"This is always my favorite place to stay when I come to town and everyone has always been so welcoming until this stay. The guy at the check in counter was acting like we were an inconvenience and didn’t want to answer any questions. Every time I would ask him anything he would let it go through one ear and out the other. I had to repeat my self several times before he finally took the time to hear what I was saying. "

"The room is equipped with everything you need whether you are staying for a night or a week. Love the Queen suite room. Very nice for families to have a separate bedroom. Staff were friendly and free breakfast was above par. "
