"Eaton is our favorite hotel in Hong Kong, for good reason. The location is convenient, the hotel has tons of charm, and the staff are always friendly and responsive. The only slight downside was the condition of the room we stayed in. It is one of the older rooms that hasn’t been refurbished in a while, so the AC was a bit noisy. It did, however, work well, and was adjustable, which isn’t always the case in hotels. We will stay in Eaton next time we’re in HK but probably opt for one of the refurbished rooms."

"Alva Hotel by Royal is a great place to stay. Highly recommanded due to the rooms are spotlessly clean. The staff is wonderful, always keen to help and friendly. I have no hesitation of going back again. The many plus points are the airport bus (A41) directly outside the hotel if travel light. The MTR is a short walk away and the local food place are plenty if you fancy a try at local restaurants. I also liked the view of the river and small park opposite."

"Staff were professional and polite The hotel is very grand with big bathrooms and bedroom. Very clean. We like the Japanese toilet as well . Many eateries nearby. Breakfast had large choices. Very happy stay in all"

"The staff was phenomenal in addressing our multiple questions regarding the MTR, breakfast, taxis, then when we asked to move from a double to a suite. Extra blankets and a heater were brought promptly. The cleaning staff was so kind and even volunteered to do our room earlier/later to accommodate us having meetings with other people in the room. The location was great - close to the MTR, the bus station, to the mall/eating, and walking out to the Ladies/ Market and other eateries. The room itself was spectacular. We were in a double for two nights and learned quickly how to draw close the curtain between the room and the shower :-) . The bathroom was a good size, as was the room itself. The suite was AMAZING. The bathroom had both a a tub and a standing shower option. There were a lot of counter space and hooks. We used the swimming pool for four days, and it was a little mystifying how to walk through a stream of water first to step onto the pool deck, but the rest was beautiful. The locker room with sauna and steam rooms was excellent, as well as was the counter staff extremely cheerful. The only one unpleasant part of our stay had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but the hallway reeked of some old garlic smell. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!"

"Fantastic hotel right in the middle of Mong Kok. Great transport links with the MTR just across the road and the airport bus stop 5 minute walk. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff I encountered, were friendly and courteous."

"Very close to restaurants, clean, good service, easy to reach from airport. Clean spacious room that oversees the river. Affordable laundry service just 10 mins away, can arrange delivery to hotel, very convenient Quiet, safe area where restaurants still very easy to reach"
