There is the historic part of the hotel and the modern. We accidentally booked the historic side with no elevator and very small rooms. They were very accommodating and switched us to the modern side with elevators. They have a van that will also take you anywhere you wanna go in town.

Got a great corner room with bathroom. Like the use of hard floors as cleaner than carpet.

We had a room without a bathroom. I’m assuming that I knew that when I booked, but didn’t remember until my husband freaked out about using a communal restroom

We are in our late 70s and were assigned in the older portion of the hotel. Taking luggage up and down stairs is not convenient for us. We had help getting it up but not going down. There is not elevator on that side. The first night we stayed several visitors were going in and out their rooms slamming doors and we had to call the front desk to quiet them down. The restaurant was great.

Staff was extra nice and helpful. Did not like the idea of no breakfast and the option offered at the Edgewater was expensive and terrible!
