The staff were friendly and on the morning we were checking out we were still having breakfast, I asked the lady who was working there if it was ok to finish our breakfast and then check out, she looked into this for us and it was agreed that we could finish our breakfast and then check out, nothing seemed to much trouble.
If you are staying here please do not take room 6, this room is right above the bar area and although I like a good party, I do not want to be awake listening to dance music with the room vibrating from the music, for this reason I will not stay again.

What can one say, a more welcoming, friendly and accomodating staff one could not wish for, the food is great and they pull a perfect guinness. YET it must be said, the accomodation has past it's prime, no matter what the staff do to help everything is run down with practically all fittings and such being broken or almost, the only redeeming feature are the good beds and the good wifi. It's a pity but it's the truth, MacCafferty's needs at least a good maintenance staff to go through the place, and at best a complete overhaul. One could go into detail but enough said.

Liked the free weekend parking , ease of check in although bit later than anticipated ( nothing to do with guesthouse) room was fine, and we were informed by staff re the likelihood of some noise due to a live band performing in the pub, we were aware of exterior noise but it was not overly loud and didnt prevent sleep. Plenty of stairs to navigate as room 11 is on top floor but otherwise a pleasant overnight stop. Suited our purpose as close to Seven Kings station on the Elizabeth Line just 5 stops from Stratford.

Decent guesthouse accommodation situated above a lively Irish bar/lounge. Rooms are compact but have everything you need for a short stay. Had an evening meal and breakfast in the bar and food was great! 👍
