theres no one at reception and check in and checkout is DIY . Security is non existance anyone can walk in. place looks far older and unmaintained vs photos and cleanliness is 50/50. having said all that its probably reflecting the price paid

Our guesthouses are operated under an unmanned system along with other inexpensive accommodations in Seoul. Of course, there were several CCTVs and staff on the first floor, so I recommend you to give me a message if you need it. If you feel uncomfortable with this, please stay in a better accommodation. Thank you

Nice, basic stay
Posted 23 Jun 2024 on HotelsRoom was decent size and clean. The free washer and dryer on the 3rd was nice to have available. Only complaint is that mattress was a little too firm for my liking, but wasn't terrible and I still able to sleep well enough. I would rebook here again.

Bathroom shower is an issue , shower head and faucet are not user friendly , strong sewage smell at the ground level. Our room was on the first floor at the back alley . Other rooms may not have the same issue .

Most Value for money stay
Posted 27 Dec 2015 on HotelsMr Naru, guesthouse owner, super friendly, always ever ready to help, with sightseeing, bicycle rental at Hangang River, postal services, restaurants reccomendation, fast food ordering and delivery, public bathhouse!
Other good stuff we like about Naru Guesthouse:
1. Abundant free flow of food( oranges, strawberries, instant noodles, juices, coffee, tea, cereals, milk, etc. Even though, these are meant for breakfast, Mr Naru generously allows us to help ourselves freely to these foods any time of the day!!
2)there was washing machine and dryer which we can use use freely at NO CHARGE!!
3) Many great Korean eateries near guesthouse
4) pretty near, abt 5 mins walk( without luggage) GongDeok Subway station, exit 4. This subway station is linked to 4 different lines, which is great n convenient to go almost anywhere!

Worth the money!

The hostel's location is really good, surrounded by many good restaurants, close to the subway that connects 4 lines and peaceful neighbourhood.
The hostel's owner is such a nice guy, helping me fix my luggage!
One drawback is only that I could hear people talking every night.
However, overall is really good :)

Unterkunft leider nicht wie auf Expedia dargestellt.
Zimmer extrem klein, Bad etwas eklig und auch Kakerlaken sind hier zu Hause.
Bettdecken nicht sauber und ohne Bezug genauso wie Kissen.
Würde ich nicht nochmal buchen.
