The owner is hands on greeting you when you arrive and providing breakfast every morning. He’s available 24/7 not just for business related to the hotel but for tips about Seoul.

Overall had an enjoyable stay where the bed is very comfortable & breakfast is great. Location was near to Hongik University subway about 10 mins walk & connecting to Incheon Airport line too. Nearby a lot of restaurants & beauty outlets. Highly recommend due to the convenience around the guesthouse.

Great location, quiet, and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to transport and good restaurants and cafes.

Terrible. Save your money & stay elsewhere.

Breakfast is white bread, butter & jam — disappointing. Very expensive for quality, and it’s totally self serve. Only hand towels, no bath size towels! No room cleaning, no temperature control in room, no sheets!! (Bottom sheet is a quilt that shifts, so you’re on the bare (dirty) mattress)

We deeply regret that we have a review of your malicious and incorrect information. Even though, you wrote a review anonymously, but as soon as we saw it, we could know who wrote it. We were not happy during your stay because you made other guests uncomfortable and you did not follow the rules of our guest house. Regarding to your feedback; 1. We prepared breakfast for all guests via Expedia and hotels.com in my house with; - Not only Sliced bread, butter and jams, but also smoked eggs, cheese, cereals, fresh milk and orange juice, coffee and tea with some snack. - We cook special food once or twice a week. During your staying, we cooked special food twice with Gimbap & Potato & Bacon soup. Sorry, but we know you ate it the most of guests. 2. Basically, self-service for breakfast and dish-washing is common and it’s our policy for all guests who stay in my place. 3. We do not provide any hand towels. We provide face towels unlimitedly, and guests can use the Bath size towels at 1,000 KRW/sheet as paid service. 4. We provide room cleaning service as per guest’s request as paid service. 5. We operate central heating system in my guesthouse. We always try to control the room temperature as per guest’s request. Every room has a air conditioner inside. 6. We always provide new bedding to new guests. It goes through a very well-managed process of washing and disinfection. We appreciate your feedback anyway. Hongdae Style Guesthouse will try to focus on improvement on guest’s request for all customers’ satisfaction as always. Thank you for staying at my place.
