There was nothing I liked about this property. The pictures in the ad on Expedia showed a different bathroom completely from what was provided. As well upon Landing in Seoul I received an email from the property telling me that they were unable to provide me with my original request of two bedroom each with three bedst. they were only able to provide two bedrooms with 1 having two beds and one having four beds there was no mention that we would be in a basement with shared common areas for sinks

I have informed you in advance that you will be providing bedding. And the room you use is not accessible except for the guest.

Short Stay

Posted 22 Apr 2016
Pros: Nice location. Affordable in Gangnam area. Nice, quiet neighborhood.
Cons: The bathrooms could be a little more clean. Trash bins inside the rooms would be nice.
Location: There are lots of restaurants, stores, and Kyobo bookstore is close by. A good nightlife. Close to several bus stops and subway stations.
When I got there, the host didn't realize that I had reservations. He seemed confused and flustered for awhile. After waiting for a bit, he finally found a bed for me. The first room I stayed in had a private bathroom, however, the sinks were outside of the bedrooms. The bed was comfy enough. I had to switch rooms the second night. There's not a lot of space in the room to put your things anywhere, especially if you get the middle bed. In the main house, I only found two shared bathrooms. It was very hard to use the bathroom since there were many guests staying. Also, the bathroom upstairs, when you lock the bathroom, you can still open it from the inside. So, when I went to use the bathroom, I thought I "locked" the door, but turned out I unlocked it. Another guest opened the door while I was using the bathroom, which was awkward and very embarrassing for me because she didn't leave after she realized it was occupied. The host is very friendly, but a bit too attentive and sometimes overbearing. There are no trash bins inside the rooms or inside the bathroom, so when I went to throw away my trash, the host would always ask me what I needed or wanted. On my last day, the host did come and say goodbye to me before I had to leave, which was nice. My experience was not that great, but the other guests there seemed to enjoy their time there. If you plan on staying here, I recommend only for a short stay.

Good location and good value for price

Posted 29 Sep 2015
Pros: Host was there providing help and advice.
The hotel was in a good location and very close to two subway stations, but the map in the website is incorrect so recommend to look for the address carefully before going.

Comfortable stay in the center of Gangnam

The room is nice. The staff friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The manager brought his dog a couple of nights for guests to play with when they came home at night. They served breakfast. It was very welcoming.

Great hostel! The bathroom was a little unique, but hey, it's all about the experience isn't it. Good location and very comfortable.

I stayed in this guesthouse for six days. The hose Jinsu was very friendly and always keen to help out other guests. Although my room was located underground, it was clean and comfortable. I recommend this guesthouse if you are looking for budget accommodation in the busy Gangnam area. Make sure you book 24 guesthouse Gangnamcentre, not Gangnam. Two are run by different owners who are not in contact.

Good calm location in Kangnam

Posted 2 Nov 2014 on Hotels
Location was great just 5 min. from Yeoksam station (Line#2, green) by walk. Most of the customers were females. The host is very willing to communicate with other people and help them if they do have some problem staying in Korea.

nice guesthouse, kind hosts

Posted 22 Oct 2014
Pros: My room was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean. I could wash clothes, get water for free and the hosts were so kind, even invited me for dinner.
Cons: I'm not sure if the air conditioner was working properly, at least it was really really cold when I used it.
Location: The hostel is very near to Yeoksam station, from here you can go anywhere easily! Best things near hostel are Bongeunsa temple and Gangnam station.
Hey, I am from Germany and visited Seoul for 2 weeks for visiting friends and exploring the city. As a tourist, I had difficulties at first to find the hostel, but after calling the host he just picked me up! :) The hostel is located very near to Yeoksam subway station, one stop of the best circular line in Seoul. From here you can get easily to any places in Seoul. However, traveling through Seoul takes some time because it's so huge :P Most of the tourist attractions are north of the Han River, but there are also some good ones near to Yeoksam such as the Bongeunsa temple, the Olympic park or the nightlife around Gangnam Station. For me, I chose this hostel because it was very near to a friend that I visited very often. The hosts of the hostel were really kind and helpful. Even they invited me for dinner once and showed me some typical Korean food and gave me some Ginseng drink. All of them can speak English, so I had no problems to communicate with them. There is a common bathroom (one for men, one for women), the shower was really awesome and the bathroom was always clean. I saw many places in Seoul, tasted a lot of food and drinks (the food alone is enough reason to visit Seoul :O) and experienced the Korean life :) This vacation was also some kind of "test" for me, because I plan to make an exchange in Seoul for one year/semester. Since I had a great experience, now I am sure: I will go there again :P

I stayed in a comfortable and good sized twin room for one night.  Room was clean (except for an old looking stain one of the bed sheets).  The owner and staff were very friendly.  It was a little tricky to find initially being located a little further back from the main roads. Found it was a little further than we would like from the nearest subway station (Yeoksam station a few hundred meters away).  It's close to an area with many many many cosmetic surgery centres. Not too many places to eat until you get nearer to the subway station or gangnam station which is a good 20min walk away.
