"Excellent option in PD for a small apartment. Stayed here three times now. Staff friendly. Close to the city centre but quiet and clean. This time we were sad that the resident cat was removed from the garden, it was friendly and made the place feel like home from home. The hot water supply could be a bit hotter. But overall it’s a great accommodation option with great people. And a really cute breakfast basket delivered each day."

All the staff were super friendly and communication was always quick and easy with them, before and during the stay. We had casually mentioned to one of them that we were on anniversary, and our last day they sent a gift basket for us as a surprise! Would definitely stay here again. "

"It’s difficult to describe this magnificent property as it was beyond my expectations! Traveled with my two sons who are tall adults and the spacious room was immaculate and modern. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious . Manuela was kind and helpful even with a language barrier. The hotel made the trip even better.. a home away from home! Well done!"

"The apartment was very clean and the owners were very friendly. The bathroom is nice and big and has a bidet. It also had a washing machine which was nice! You could walk to the restaurants and to the grocery store. The street noise is very loud and you have to keep the windows open because it is very warm inside. "The quality and size of the “apartments” (they’re basically houses, it’s great) is phenomenal for the price. To have a private back deck, many air conditioners, a kitchen, a nice bathroom, FOUR sets of sliding doors.. it was great. Friendly cats run the grounds, par for the course in Europe. "Place was just as pictured. Clean. Ideal location. Comfiest beds we had in our 5 week vacation. Staff had limited English, but decent French (and significantly better than my Portuguese), so overall no difficulties communicating with them. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and willing to help with booking excusions, willing to provide information. Very happy with our stay (except for the weather, but can’t control when storms decide to pass by). "

"This is a very convenient location on the island for the following reasons. When staying at other hotels in the tourist areas such as furnas/ sete cidades you have to drive up steep roads daily to traverse in/out of your hotels city. That can take hours of your day away and depending on time of day (night hours) or weather can be unsafe having to commute such steep terrain. This hotel is located conveniently in the middle of the island, away from the main city so you can enjoy nature (15 min drive to Ponta Delgada). Staff was excellent, they provide you with a cellphone for your room which they communicate with for reservations/ attraction ideas to visit, any questions you might have. Beach is conveniently right there, myself and every guest i saw enter during my 1 week stay there all said “wow” when you walk in and take in the views at reception. I miss my stay there already. "

"This historical property is located in the Terra Nostra Garden Park. The garden is huge and delightful to explore. Even though the large thermal pool was closed due to renovation, we were able to enjoy the smaller thermal jacuzzis. We also enjoyed the dining room for breakfast and dinner. "
