Nice place to stay for a short time, we stayed for 3 nights.
Things we liked:
- Atmosphere, beautifully landscaped and kept clean
- Breakfast service in your villa
- Mosquito net around the bed
- Steam Shower
- Having your own pool
Things we didn’t like:
- Shower/bath and bathroom sinks were outdoor
(We didn’t use the outdoor sinks as there were too many mosquitos)
- Too many leaves dropping from the frangipani tree into the pool and around the villa
- Cracked glass above the “shelter” so when it was raining it was still coming through
- Lots of ants around the pool
We also received welcome massages which was lovely, wish we were able to fit in longer massages but didn’t have the time. Finally the staff were all so lovely and accommodating, value for what we paid was expected and met our expectations.

Hotel was beautiful and whole space was tranquil and calming just a little too hot in the villa as no air con other than in the bedroom

We loved our stay at the Amala. The villas were lovely and all staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the yoga and healing sessions with Dewa. And the sound bath, and massages were also excellent. The Amala was super peaceful and relaxing, and the bars and restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. We felt very safe. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel staffs are all very nice and kind. At first we booked Spa villa, but we were not happy with the villa. The pool is too small and the villa looks old and not well maintained. After we contacted the staffs about this matter, they quickly help us to resolve this matter by assisting us upgrade into pool villa. Pool Villa is definitely alot better and well maintained than spa villa.However the food overall is 5/10. Nasi goreng and mihun goreng are both good. In-room service bbq food overall was 5/10 too. Seafoods are not fresh. The best thing is that all the staffs are very professional and willing to help you out anytime :)
