Wonderful hotel

Amazing hotel, enjoyed every moment there definitely would come back to stay there. The staff were very helpful and always friendly. The breakfast was very tasty. The room was very spacious and comfy. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

this hotel provides a wide city view, can see the sunrise and sunset, but when I stayed the weather was not supportive so it didn't work to see it. on top of the hotel there is a nice restaurant and bar, which also shows the city view from the window. The breakfast is quite varied and the food tastes not bad. this hotel lacks facilities and rooms that look old. The bathup water cap is come off so you cannot use the bathup. the towels were worn out, the pillowcases also looked worn and hairy. for the staff, the receptionist section is not friendly, in the restaurant there were only two employees, so when the fruit and drinks run out, they are not immediately refilled. the conclusion of my review, this hotel needs better maintenance so it will feel more comfortable. if the conditions do not change I will definitely not come back here again.

Apart from its proximity and location, I will not recommend nor will I stay at this hotel again. Towels had a very disgusting damp smell, linens (especially pillow cases) were not bright white and clean, the handheld shower was not working in room 602, lots of the kettles were broken, and overall, the hotel rooms need some serious cleaning and maintenance! One of the receptionists, Edo, was the most unhelpful front office receptionist I have ever met. Did not book my taxi correctly even though I have given him an hour notice! And when I asked for a spare room key, he advised straightaway that that was NOT possible. When you ask him to do stuff, the direct answer was NO! Asked a different receptionist, and they gave me a spare key asap. Not the service you would expect from a receptionist, which meant to be the front face of the hotel! Very disappointed in him. Overall, forget about this hotel if the price wasn’t heavily discounted!

Good location

Location was very good, right adjacent to small "mall" with various food options. Breakfast was well stocked with options. Not a place that foreigners are typically at. Had a problem in the room with a light that would not turn off. After maintenance spent 20 minutes working on it, I requested a new room, which took another 15 minutes to get ready. New room was nicer and cleaner than the old one. Pool area was great, used it twice with no other people in the pool, but staff around. Since it's on the rooftop, expect windy conditions.

The hotel is very old, mold everywhere. Furniture is chipping and old, many stains on marble, old bath towels, extremely small room, few stores and restaurants still open on connecting mall, staffs speak little English, when taking shower, water leak all over the floor, horrible Wifi. Ask receptionist if can change to another better condition room, same condition with the other one, ask receptionist about the condition, she said all rooms same condition, noisy from street. Will not recommend to others! Will never come back! This is the worst hotel I ever stay around the world with 3.5 stars rating.

Nice hotel & facilities

Pros: Nice room, comfortable
Cons: Less smoking
Location: I was on business, so didn't explore locally
Hotel was pretty good, but I'd forgotten that non European hotels still have quite a smoking culture. My room was on a smoking floor. Also the restaurant is divided into smoking & non smoking, but sitting in the non smoking section is not hugely different from sitting in the smoking section.
