Not what it used to be !!
We stayed at this place after having such a lovely experience previously. However, this stay was very disappointing. We opted for upsell to the 5 BR villa on check-in which looked lovely in the pictures, but were stuck with a villa that stunk of sewerage the whole time! We reported it and to the credit of the villa manager he tried to get the problem fixed but unfortunately the problem remained until we checked out.
It is understandable that problems can arise at times, but what was most disappointing is that despite our grievances, all we were offered as compensation was the difference between our original booking and the upsell amount.
Management of the resort did not bother to attend to us and would send the villa manager each time even though the problem was not fixed. The ground staff Phian, Abul and our villa manager Juna were nice and attentive and did what they could, but the resort management on this occasion was very poor. This has turned us off returning anytime in the near future which we are sad about.
Hopefully management pick up their game and make this place worth it like it used to be.

Had books through Expedia for multiple nights - horrible mistake. Expedia is the worst and can't seem to provide customers with any support or service.
This property is unfinished, construction and dirt lots on both sides of the "villa" was so far from the front desk, main lobby, other amenities that it was a 5 to 10 min drive. this had to be requested in advance and was only available during certain hours. Impossible to walk, steep hills and bad road conditions on this property prevent you from walking it yourself. Dead lizard in the bathroom, smoke detector started beeping at 5 in the morning. Had to deal with Expedia to get out of the property since the front desk never addressed the smoke detector. WASTED A DAY and was not refunded for the day I was woken up at 5 am by the smoke detector. Lessons learned. Never using Expedia again and do more research on properties before booking.

Where to start...the views are incredible, villa is beautifully designed, delicious food and great staff. The property itself doesn't have the best connectivity phone/ internet. There is some construction going on but we didnt notice much from our villa. As this is still in pre opening I can only imagine the full potential of this place.

Nice view of the Selong Belanak Sea Cove. Great pool, spacious, clean and comfortable interiors.
A lot of construction in progress which mar slightly the overall experience. We initially stayed at 4B Villa but requested for a change due to non availability of tap water initially (had to be turned on by maintenance staff later), incessant presence of monkeys, noises from on-going construction at nearby villas and lack of privacy of the toilets due to their ‘Open design’ concept.
Besides we had regular visitors - lizards, gecko, spiders, scorpions and flies entered the living and bedroom spaces which was not something we were quite used to. Internet WLAN connection could have been stronger.
We shifted to Villa 2D. Although it was smaller and had flight of steps to walk-up to the villa (less suitable for elderly folks), its more comfortable and had better view of the sea. A/C failed in the living room and we experienced power outages but technicians attended to the situation promptly.

This along with sharing our habitat with all natures creatures can indeed be overwhelming. With regards to repairs to villa (and moving due to water issues), we appreciate your patience and understanding. Also with WIFI being intermittent, again something we are subjected where external providers at times limit our bandwidth without advance notice. Lombok, Indonesia the pace is slower, and we encourage all those who visit to enjoy our version of “off-grid” experience.

The villas are amazing, the rooms are comfy and big and the swimming pool is big and the view is unique. The restaurant food quality was really good and many options in the menu. The service is extremely polite and constantly available for any need you might have.
The cons are the villas being build up generate noise in the valley and the resort is on going work.

Most Amazing Villas Ever!
Posted 21 May 2018 on HotelsThis property is MAGNIFICENT! Set atop the ridge of a high hill overlooking the ocean, this is the most serene location I have stayed at. The villa was shockingly large, with so much room in which to relax. It was clearly quite new and it had very nice fixtures and amenities. The portable speaker and cell phone butler service were perfect touches to this beautiful property. The infinity pool offered a really nice way to view the ocean. The bathroom was excellent, with nice soaps and a great shower setup. The staff was such a pleasant group of people, and the entire staff had excellent English, so there were no communication challenges at all. They offer transportation to the incredible beach, so it was quite easy to relax there and return to the villa, as well. They also easily arranged a motorcycle rental for me so that I could tour other parts of the island by myself. I have been telling all my friends about this property and I highly recommend you visit as well!

景色は良い。ヴィラも立派なのだが、非常に使いにくい。洗濯機がないのは不便。ランドリーサービスは時間通りな届かないし、私の洗濯物は他の人の部屋に持っていかれたようだ。バスタブはない。フロントからヴィラまでは送迎サービスがあるが、フロントでお願いしても、送迎車はなかなか来ない。プールはきれいだが、プールサイドのバスタオルは雨で濡れても、数日間交換されない。ルームサービスは時間通りに来ない。20分遅れで催促すると10分後に届く。玄関から来ないで、プールサイドの窓から届けに来たのには驚いた。

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist hervorragend.
Die Villen sind sehr gut ausgestattet, es gibt sogar einen Wasserspender, aus dem gratis Wasser gezapft werden kann, im Zimmer. Es stehen kostenlose Strandhandtücher, wiederbefüllbare Glasflaschen, Kaffee, Tee und Milch zur Verfügung. Wir haben einen Gutschein für eine kostenlose Strandtour erhalten, es war wirklich traumhaft. Man sollte sich das Private-BBQ nicht entgehen lassen.
Die Kommunikation war überaus angenehm. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Gut finden wir, dass es kein Buffet gab, so wird sicher gestellt dass alles frisch zubereitet wird und weniger Nahrung weggeschmissen wird. Um die doch etwas hügeligen Strecken innerhalb des Resorts zurückzulegen, gibt es einen kostenfreien Shuttle Service, der immer umgehend da war. Nochmal zu betonen ist das freundliche Personal, und wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in dieses tolle Resort zurückkehren.
